Group outings provide social support and community connection for people with disabilities
Living in the moment and just enjoying yourself is vital to everyone’s quality of life.
Group bus outings with peers keep life fun, interesting and connected. Activities range from ten-pin bowling, Darling Harbour or Manly aquariums, a barbecue in a national park, a beach visit – anywhere in and around Sydney. Our bus collects our clients from their homes.
Calendars are set in advance at planning meetings – clients can be part of group decision-making about where they want to go and what they want to do.
The companionship and interaction provided by this service helps alleviate the isolation experienced by many disabled people, and it occurs in a fun, safe, supported space.
